Help! My House Smells!

On December 4, 2012 by Bethany

It smells AMAZING! Why? Because our shipment of Life is Hope Coffee just arrived to our door! We are so excited to be a part of selling this coffee to benefit Life is Hope Orphanage.

Life is Hope South is a non-profit organization that exists to fund-raise and bring awareness to Life is Hope Orphanage. Their founder, Richard Lopez was on a quick survey trip at the beginning of my October trip to Haiti. In those few days getting to know Richard and his friend and pastor, Alan Beasley. These two men have a burning passion for spreading the Gospel and showing the love of Christ all across the nations. They are from Jasper, Alabama and have a burden on their lives to help fund the “vision property” for Life is Hope. One of the ways they are doing this is by roasting and selling coffee. The beans are purchased with donated money and the roasting is done on a volunteer basis, so almost all of the proceeds go directly to the orphanage and vision property construction.

The Life is Hope South team imports green beans from various countries and roasts them in house in Jasper, Alabama. All roasting, marketing, packaging, shipping etc. is completed by a team of volunteers who share a passion for the children.
