Sevenly.org Followup: T-Shirts

On November 20, 2012 by Eric

Just wanted to post a quick follow up to Bethany’s last post on Orphan Awareness Month. She mentioned in that post about ordering some shirts through Sevenly.org to help support Show Hope, an organization that is “dedicated to engaging the church to care for orphans and reducing the financial barriers to adoption” by helping provide adoption and aid orphan care.

So, yesterday I went to the mailbox and found this:

Getting a package in the mail is exciting. Getting a package in the mail with clever jokes printed on the outside? That’ll make your day!

After carefully following the shanking instructions, I found these awesome shirts!

The shirts seem very well-made and were comfortable enough to be deemed “cozy” by Bethany, so you know they are nice. Best of all, they were able to raise over $18,000 for Show Hope. Win-win!

As a side note, we are still looking to give away a copy of the book “Anxious Christian” by Rhett Smith. I was fortunate to hear Rhett speak at a conference a couple weekends ago (stay tuned for a post on that soon!). He had some really interesting things to say about being a Christian, struggling with anxiety, and how to use anxiety to further your faith.

To sweeten the deal a little more, we’ll be including two more “mystery books” into the drawing. To be entered, all you have to do is comment on Bethany’s last post on Orphan Awareness Month. We’ll be drawing for the books this Sunday night, so get in there and comment!
